

About Hazlehurst City Location: Hazlehurst is located in the center of Copiah County. Interstate 55 affords easy access to metro Jackson to the north and New Orleans to the south. Hazlehurst is about 3 hours drive from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and approximately 2 hours drive from Natchez and about 1 hour drive from Vicksburg. Other communities in Copiah County are Crystal Springs, Wesson, and Georgetown. Businesses: Downtown Hazlehurst has pretty old brick streets with dress shops, specialty shops, furniture stores, banks, offices, antique shops and restaurants.
